 FRAME GRABBERS:
We have created relationships with EPIX, Matrox, and Euresys... These are leading vendors of
Camera Link and Analog Frame Grabbers. They answer our calls and provide us with 1st
class support. We pass this support on.

Frame Grabbers are the interfaces to the computer world for Cameras. They provide specialized connections that allow the massive amount of pixel values captured via the camera to be captured efficiently by your computer so that the data can be "massaged" by the host CPU. Interfaces come with CameraLink¢ç, FireWire¢ç, Gig/E, etc.

GigE-Connect EM2-CLB

Camera-Link ¡®Base¡¯ to GigE Converter

GigE-Connect EM2-CLB is a stand-alone Camera-Link¢â frame grabber that captures a Camera- Link¢â 'Base¡® video stream and transports it over a gigabit Ethernet channel to a controlling PC. GigE-Connect EM2-CLB overcomes a number of critical shortcomings of Camera-Link¢â, namely its limited range (up to 10 meters), its lack of support for network architectures and its requirement for a costly frame grabber.

Notebook Camera Link Frame Grabber

The EPIX PIXCI¢ç EC1 frame grabber supports all Full, Medium, and Base configuration Camera Link cameras with bandwidth requirements of 191 megabytes (1528 Mbits) per second or less. Compatible with ExpressCard, the PCI Express interface for notebook computers, the PIXCI¢ç EC1 offers dedicated support for more than 200 of the newest, most advanced, highest bandwidth machine vision cameras.

PCI Express x4 Frame Grabber For High Bandwidth Camera Link Cameras

The EPIX PIXCI E4 is a plug-n-play frame grabber. Load the software, connect the camera, and begin to capture images. In addition to supporting high bandwidth cameras, the PIXCI E4 supports more than 100 Full, Medium, and Base configuration Camera Link cameras with lower bandwidth requirements.
